107 Projects

Hack Sounds producer and venue partner

107 Projects' philosophy and mission is to improve communities by encouraging people to live creatively. We are committed to the advancement of culture. 107 operates independently to provide new avenues for creative sustainability and cultural participation, and fosters inclusion within both the creative sector and local neighbourhood. 107 Projects is an Incorporated Association and a registered charity (DGR-1).

Within our operations, 107 creates and facilitates a diverse range of activities and programs from exhibitions and live performance to workshops, special events and festivals. These encompass and generate community property development, placemaking, creative spaces, arts initiatives, public art projects, inclusion and enterprise.

Hack Sounds is an initiative produced by 107 Presents, our annual creative project that creates opportunities for artists to develop their practice and for audiences to engage in unexpected artistic experiences.

The City of Sydney is a Major Partner supporting 107 Presents with seed funding and an Accommodation Grant for 107 Redfern Street, which is the venue home for Hack Sounds.
